On October 5, 2024, 29-year-old Terrance "Teddy" Patrick was fatally shot while attending his 7-year-old son's youth football game at St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, California. The incident occurred around 8:20 a.m. in the school's parking lot, where Patrick was seated in a car with a female companion.
