On October 27, 2024, at approximately 1:20 a.m., the Kern County Sheriff's Office received multiple 911 calls reporting a shooting at the Rosamond Garden Apartments, located in the 3400 block of 15th Street West in Rosamond, California. Upon arrival, deputies discovered 22-year-old Davion Jasper-Keyon "Dewey" Jackson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
