Eric Castillo, a 22-year-old resident of Rosamond, California, tragically lost his life on September 9, 2022, in a fatal shooting incident. The Kern County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of gunfire in the area of Sandra Way and 20th Street West around 3:15 a.m. Upon arrival, deputies discovered two individuals with gunshot wounds. Eric Castillo was pronounced dead at the scene, while a teenage boy, also injured in the shooting, was transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries.
