On the evening of October 30, 2024, at approximately 8:11 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to a shooting incident on La Paz Drive in Victorville, California. Upon arrival, they discovered 50-year-old Hispanic male, Binju Quintana, lying in a parking lot with a gunshot wound. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, Quintana was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Homicide Detail took over the case.
Their initial findings indicated that an unidentified Black male adult approached Quintana and shot him before fleeing the scene prior to the deputies' arrival. As of the latest available information, the suspect remains at large, and no arrests have been made in connection with Quintana's death.
