Death by Force

On February 8, 2023, at approximately 1:22 p.m., Hendersonville Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 100 block of Cole Court. Upon arrival, they discovered 21-year-old Mark McCord Jr. lying in the front yard of a residence, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. McCord was immediately transported to Hendersonville Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
