In the early afternoon of February 8, 2023, the life of 21-year-old Mark McCord Jr. was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire in Hendersonville, Tennessee. The incident unfolded in the front yard of a residence on Cole Court, where police responded to a call of shots fired at approximately 1:22 p.m. Upon their arrival, officers discovered McCord suffering from gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported to Hendersonville Medical Center, but he succumbed to his injuries.
