James Hudgins, a 67-year-old white male, was found dead on February 14, 2014, in Hendersonville, Tennessee. His death was the result of a gruesome murder committed by his son-in-law, Sandie Calvert. Calvert, who was 42 years old at the time, had been diagnosed with a mental illness in 2011 and had a history of delusional and manic episodes.
