On the evening of the Fourth of July in 2023, a day typically marked by celebration, tragedy struck in a northeast Memphis neighborhood. Robert Tunstall, a 27-year-old man known to many as the local rapper Casino Jizzle, was shot and killed. The incident occurred shortly after 6:30 p.m. in the 2200 block of Goldbrier Lane, where responding Memphis Police Department officers found Tunstall deceased at the scene.
