Death by Force

Maurice Anthony-Charles Kirkwood Jr., a 20-year-old resident of Haslett, Michigan, tragically lost his life on October 2, 2015, in southeast Lansing. The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. in the 3200 block of Trappers Cove Trail. Kirkwood was shot during an altercation that escalated into gunfire. He was later pronounced dead from his injuries.
