On July 11, 2023, in Collierville, Tennessee, 43-year-old Benjamin Mauck, an orthopedic surgeon at Campbell Clinic, was fatally shot while attending to a patient. The incident occurred in an exam room at the clinic's Collierville location. Dr. Mauck was pronounced dead at the scene.
