On September 8, 2023, in Memphis, Tennessee, 37-year-old Edwin Deshaun was fatally shot. Memphis Police Department officers responded to a shooting call in the 5800 block of Ridgehill Drive, where they found Deshaun suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
