Irving Guy, 31, a Black male from Memphis, Tennessee, was killed on August 26, 2016, after gunfire ripped through the Wingood Manor Apartments in late morning. Police were called to the complex in the 3500 block just before 11 a.m., and what they found suggested the violence had unfolded fast and close—one victim down in the street, another gravely wounded.
