On December 3, 2023, at approximately 10:45 a.m., Knoxville Police Department officers responded to a reported shooting at the Arbor Place Apartments, located in the 700 block of Lula Powell Drive. Upon arrival, they discovered 35-year-old Howard Jordan inside an apartment, suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Tragically, Jordan was pronounced dead at the scene.
