On January 8, 2024, 37-year-old David White, a truck driver from North Carolina, was found deceased inside the cab of his semi-truck in East Nashville, Tennessee. His vehicle was parked on Lucas Lane, adjacent to the Love's Travel Stop. White was last seen alive around 7:20 p.m. on January 7, purchasing food inside the travel center. When his employer, KA Logistics, was unable to reach him, they requested a welfare check, leading a Love's employee to discover his body.
