In the early morning hours of Sunday, April 2, 2017, a night out in Nashville, Tennessee, turned deadly for 23-year-old Javier Jr. Pedroza. The young man was with a friend, 19-year-old Juan Alexander Rodriguez, at the Island Vibes restaurant on Antioch Pike, which was operating as an after-hours club called La Mansion Hall. An altercation reportedly broke out in the restroom involving Pedroza and Rodriguez, leading to their removal from the establishment by security.
