On a tragic spring day in Alamo, Tennessee, the life of Maria Rios was cut short in an act of violence that also claimed the life of her husband, Jesus Rios. On the afternoon of May 9, 2024, law enforcement officers were called to their home on Highway 88. Inside, they made a grim discovery. Maria Rios was found with what appeared to be fatal gunshot wounds. Her husband was also found deceased at the scene.
