On January 14, 2023, 19-year-old Aceyn "Ace" Ausbrook was fatally shot in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Bellwood Avenue, where first responders found him with a gunshot wound to the torso. He was transported to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
Aceyn was a 2022 graduate of Gateway High School, remembered for his kindness and respectful nature. He participated in lacrosse, wrestling, and occasionally football during his high school years.
