In the late morning of January 25, 2023, a grim discovery was made behind a residence on the 1000 block of Baldwin Street in Chester, Pennsylvania. Responding to a report of a suspicious male, Chester Police officers found 18-year-old Mekhi J. Harrison unresponsive. The young Black / African American man had suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.
