On March 1, 2023, at approximately 5:45 p.m., Pittsburgh Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert indicating multiple rounds fired in the 3100 block of Cordell Place, located in the Arlington Heights neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers discovered 35-year-old Tamont Terale Williams-Brown lying in a courtyard with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
