On the evening of June 13, 2023, a tragic shooting occurred in Pittsburgh's West Oakland neighborhood, resulting in the death of 29-year-old Tanika L. Paul. The incident took place around 9:30 p.m. on the 2500 block of Allequippa Street, near Carlow University.
