On March 12, 2023, 27-year-old David Deshler was fatally shot in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred around 11:00 p.m. near Schultz Court and Mulberry Street in the city's Hill Section. Deshler sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was transported to Geisinger Community Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead the following day.
