On November 14, 2023, 15-year-old Dillan A. Shearer of Wilmerding, Pennsylvania, tragically lost his life to gun violence. At approximately 11:27 p.m., Allegheny County 911 received reports of a shooting in the 300 block of Patton Street. First responders arrived to find Dillan with a fatal gunshot wound to the head; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
