In the fall of 2016, a tragic event unfolded in the quiet community near Glenwood Springs, Colorado, culminating in the death of 28-year-old Blanca Salas-Jurado. On October 7, 2016, Salas was found shot to death in the Pinon Pines apartment she shared with her sister and young son.
