Rico Smith, a 27-year-old contractor from Wilmerding, PA, was tragically shot and killed on August 19, 2016, while working on a house on Airbrake Avenue. Smith was performing repairs on the front porch when an unidentified assailant approached and began shooting. Smith was taken to a local hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
