In the afternoon of November 22, 2023, a verbal altercation outside the Charles W. Dickinson Transportation Center in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, ended in the death of 39-year-old Jeremiah Waylon Hawkins. The male victim was shot in the face at close range and was pronounced dead at a local hospital. An autopsy later confirmed the cause of death as a gunshot wound to the head, and the manner of death was ruled a homicide.
