On December 1, 2023, at approximately 7:05 p.m., Philadelphia Police officers responded to a shooting incident on the 2900 block of Ridge Avenue in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood. Upon arrival, they discovered 31-year-old Tyress Sellers inside a vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers immediately transported him to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased shortly after arrival.
