In the late hours of a February evening, a discovery was made in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park that brought a tragic end to the life of 38-year-old Krystina Chambers. A Black female from the city, Krystina was found on February 29, 2024, near Mount Pleasant Drive, the victim of a fatal shooting. Alongside her was the body of 49-year-old Thurston Cooper; both had been shot in what police described as an 'execution-style' killing. Krystina had sustained gunshot wounds to her head and chest.
