On October 14, 2019, Damaya Alcindor, a 10-month-old girl from Philadelphia, PA, tragically lost her life. Damaya, along with her 4-year-old sister Maxillie and her father Max Alcindor, aged 38, were fatally shot by their mother, Damyrra Jones, who was 28 years old.
