On April 13, 2024, 18-year-old Annalaya "LaLa" Wilkerson was tragically shot and killed in South Franklin Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. on Jolly School Road, where Wilkerson and a 17-year-old female companion were found with gunshot wounds. Wilkerson had been shot in the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene, while the 17-year-old was critically injured and transported to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
