On the evening of May 26, 2024, 34-year-old Devan Mandell Harris was fatally shot in Philadelphia's Feltonville neighborhood. At approximately 10:25 p.m., police responded to reports of gunfire on the 4900 block of Rorer Street and found Harris inside a gray Kia Sportage, suffering from a gunshot wound to the right side of his head. Officers transported him to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
