On June 5, 2024, 64-year-old Carrie L. Beck Shoop was fatally shot in her home on Snook Road in Decatur Township, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania. Born on December 25, 1959, in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Leroy Beck Sr. and Doris (Swagely) Weaver. Carrie was a homemaker who enjoyed making crafts. She is survived by three sons—Shawn L. Beck of McClure, Manuel Agostino of Virginia, and Chad L. Beck of Lebanon—five siblings, eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
