On January 24, 2023, at approximately 2:46 p.m., deputies from the Robeson County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting incident on Samuel Williams Drive in Red Springs, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered three individuals deceased from multiple gunshot wounds: 34-year-old Sierra Nicole Wherry, her brother 51-year-old Donald Kendrick Williams, and 45-year-old family friend James Elijah Beauregard.
