On the evening of February 25, 2023, at approximately 8:40 p.m., Ahoskie Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting in the parking lot of Los Amigos Mexican Restaurant, located within the Newmarket Shopping Center in Ahoskie, North Carolina.
