On the afternoon of March 7, 2025, a fatal shooting occurred at the Peachtree Apartments in Ahoskie, North Carolina. The victim, Darvarious Romon Wilson, a 33-year-old African American male, was found deceased at the scene by responding officers from the Ahoskie Police Department. The incident took place around 1:30 p.m. in the 600 block of Peachtree Street.
