On May 14, 2023, in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, 40-year-old Tavori Detron "Spot" Fletcher was fatally shot in an incident that also injured 35-year-old Cedric Green. The shooting occurred just after midnight in the Hickory Village Mobile Home Park on River Road. Both men sustained multiple gunshot wounds and were transported to Sentara Albemarle Medical Center, where Fletcher succumbed to his injuries. Green was later transferred to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for further treatment. ...
