On June 5, 2023, at approximately 4:11 p.m., 61-year-old Michael Robert Feldman was fatally shot in the stairwell of the Holly Crest Apartments on Holly Crest Lane in Huntersville, North Carolina. Feldman, a former professor of electrical engineering at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and the co-founder and CEO of T1V, a Charlotte-based software company specializing in large touchscreen experiences, was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel.
