Jaylin Deontaye Griffith, a 24-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 29, 2018, in Huntersville, North Carolina. Jaylin was found with a gunshot wound in the 17000 block of Northstar Drive and was later pronounced dead. The incident occurred during a residential breaking and entering, which led to a series of events that culminated in his untimely death.
