Death by Force

On September 6, 2023, at approximately 12:20 p.m., Durham Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 3000 block of East Weaver Street in Durham, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered two women suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims, identified as 45-year-old Tonya Richardson, was transported to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
