On February 14, 1994, Kimberly Thompson, age 24, was found shot in the parking lot of an apartment complex at 504 Holloway Street in Durham, North Carolina. She was discovered shortly after 5 a.m. and was rushed to Duke University Hospital, where she died shortly after.
