On May 7, 2014, 37-year-old Shontina Nakeisha Williams was found dead on the Rocky Creek Trail in Durham, North Carolina. Her body was discovered early in the morning after police received a call reporting the incident. An autopsy later revealed that Williams had been shot, confirming the case as a homicide. Despite the investigation, her murder remains unsolved. The Durham Police Department has continued to seek information from the public to help solve this case.
