Robin Brodie, a 28-year-old woman from Durham, North Carolina, was tragically shot on the evening of October 15, 2017. The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. while she was sitting in a vehicle on Keystone Place near Dearborn Drive. Brodie was immediately taken to a local hospital with serious injuries and succumbed to her wounds the following day.

The investigation into her death led to the arrest of George Jamal McFadden Jr., a 27-year-old man from Durham. McFadden was already in custody ...
