Denis Alen Sosa-Gomez, a 45-year-old man, was tragically shot and killed on Christmas morning, December 25, 2022, in Durham, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 10:00 a.m. on Ashe Street, where both Denis and a woman were found with gunshot wounds. Denis was transported to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. The woman, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries, was also taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
