On October 27, 2023, at approximately 10:15 p.m., Forsyth County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of gunfire on Cain Forest Drive in Walkertown, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 24-year-old Casey Ryan Goolsby, a resident of Walnut Cove, lying in the backyard with multiple gunshot wounds.
