On January 2, 2024, at approximately 12:18 a.m., Greensboro Police Department officers responded to reports of an aggravated assault near Summit Avenue and Twain Road in Greensboro, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 27-year-old Joshua Andre Nealy with life-threatening injuries; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
