Djimon Antonio Lucas, a 23-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on October 4, 2021, at the Extended Stay America hotel on Big Tree Way in Greensboro, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 1:00 a.m., and Lucas was found suffering from a gunshot wound. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
