On January 6, 2024, 47-year-old Juan Black of Louisburg, North Carolina, was found deceased from apparent gunshot wounds inside a residence at 1064 Abbott Road, Henderson. The Vance County Sheriff's Office responded to a welfare check at the home around 4:30 p.m., discovering three individuals dead: Danielle Williams, 49, and her son, Tre’von Hargrove, 25, both residents of the address, along with Black.
