On January 28, 2024, 37-year-old Brandon Giles was fatally shot outside his residence at 709 North Ellis Avenue in Dunn, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 2 p.m. Giles, a father of two with a third child on the way, was found in his driveway with gunshot wounds. He was transported to WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh, where he succumbed to his injuries later that afternoon.
