On April 16, 2024, at approximately 2:49 p.m., the Davie County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported shooting at 456 Pineville Road in Mocksville, North Carolina. Upon arrival, deputies discovered 34-year-old Jade Marie Sales deceased from multiple gunshot wounds. Two other individuals, an 18-year-old woman and a one-month-old infant, were present in the residence at the time of the incident.
