Quintia Miller, a 26-year-old African American woman, was tragically shot and killed on October 3, 2022, at Rowan Pointe Apartments in Mocksville, North Carolina. The incident was a case of mistaken identity. Harold Reid Jr., the perpetrator, went to the apartment complex looking for Shavonne Barnes, a woman who had accused him of molesting her as a child.
