On April 24, 2024, at approximately 3:00 p.m., officers from the Winston-Salem Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 400 block of Byerly Road in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 54-year-old Sandra Rae Ramseur suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
