On May 3, 2024, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Greensboro police responded to a reported shooting at The Treasure Club, an adult nightclub located at 7806 Boeing Drive. Upon arrival, officers and a Guilford County Sheriff's deputy discovered 19-year-old Malaki A. Pegram lying in the parking lot with fatal gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene, marking Greensboro's 15th homicide of the year.
